The Wilton Way Café Jubilee Special: 1900-1920s by London Fields Radio on Mixcloud

The Wilton Way Café and London Fields Radio present a special series of podcasts from 1902 to 2012 to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee ahead of their free street party on Sunday June 3.

Presenters on Hackney’s micro radio station count down the eras, from the 1900s to 2000s, commemorating the best (and worst) of the decade with music, commentary and LFR’s distinct DIY flavour.

In the first of the series, 1900s-1920s, The Dirt presenter Roxanne Roll dusts off some of your great grandparents’ favourite music hall ditties and early jazz from the era – and there’s even a request from the afterlife (yes, really) live on air.
