In the last show of 2017 we skip through folk, jazz and R&B with a mix of some of my favourite new releases, old music I’ve been listening to a lot this year, as well as a handful of festive numbers.
Dedicated to Lucas, Alex, Jimena and Tiru.

Are you an Instagram user? Do you enjoy posting and liking photos? Are you constantly posting pictures of your avocado toasts? Matt Spicer’s Ingrid Goes West explores the dangers of the social media platform and the issues it can cause in people. In honour of Small Screen’s Film Club’s co-host Alessia’s return, we decided to dedicate the episode to this darkly comic modern horror flick. Please, enjoy.
A big thank you goes out to London Fields Radio for letting us record out show at the Wilton Way Cafe.

In this month’s show we skip through folk, jazz, classical and electronica to weave ambient vibes for a crisp and sunny day in the Wilton Way Cafe. We take you on a journey across the American folk of the Appalachian Mountains, the lush electronics of South Africa and the blustery pipes of the Scottish Highlands. Expect harps, synths and Japanese marimbas a-plenty.
